Michaeldrum Loves Drumming
Michaeldrum just can't get enough of drumming. Not satisfied that his own drum parts are perfect and completed, he's resorted to drumming Michaelguitar's guitar mid-song. "I've finished my parts," the drummer from the band WATP, 42, said today "And I miss drumming, so I've decided I'll be playing all the guitar parts by drumming them."
"This is a particularly stupid idea," said Michaelguitar, 33, "Michaeldrum hatches some corkers, but this takes the fucking biscuit." News that Michaeldrum's drumming on the guitar will not make it to the final record has not yet been broken to him. -
Rush Hour, Pal.
During making this record me and Michaelguitar have become obsessed with this song to the extent that we're texting each other the chorus when we're not in the studio. We're not sure if this means the next Physics record will sound like Jane Wiedlin or if we'll start wearing neon wetsuits while recording. We thought we'd share it with you. Transmorphers!
I just finished my bass parts for some beezer songs on this new record and, in celebration, Michaelguitar gave me this DVD called Transmorphers which looks like it's about big robots that transmorph into cars and other vehicles as they attack earth. I've never seen anything quite like it, I mean, these are robots and they're in disguise. Why hasn't anyone thought about doing this sort of thing before? there's a quote on the back cover that reads "The Matrix, Aliens and Starship Troopers rolled into one massive sci-fi action extravaganza", but it doesn't say who the quote is from so I'm guessing it's from a really really highly regarded film critic and not one the producer has made up himself to go on the back cover.
In other news, Michaelguitar is about to play a baritone guitar on one of our songs about buns and junkies, called Junkie Buns. I don't care though, because I've got Transmorphers to look at. - Previous Page | Next Page
